Ex-OC Moazzem: Alert issued on Jashore border
Jashore: The authorities have issued an alert on the Jashore border areas to stop former OC Moazzem Hossain from escaping the country.
Benapole international check-post immigration Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Hossain Bashar said, “After the arrest warrant, the passport number of Ex-OC Moazzem was sent to us from police headquarters through district police super.”
Additional security measures have been taken in check-posts so that Moazzem could not leave the country.
Jashore BGB-49 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Selim Reza said the borders were kept alert.
Earlier, a case was filed against the former OC Moazzem on charge of violating cyber security laws by releasing a video statement of madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi on internet. On May 27, an arrest warrant was issued against him.
